DAY 1:
Pray for God to open the hearts of the people who are destroying our country by
their selfish motives, that had paved way for corruption and injustice, so that
they can repent of their evil deeds, and turn to God and do what is right.
Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast
spirit within me.”
Psalm 24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his
soul to an idol or swear deceitfully.
Psalm 73:1 Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
DAY 2:
Pray for all evangelistic ministries this year—especially online outreaches, as
public gatherings and church services are postponed and cancelled.
Ephesians 4:16 “… from whom the whole body, being fitted and held
together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each
individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in
love.”
DAY 3:
Today, many have abandoned their faith and say they don’t identify with any
faith tradition at all—a number that has soared in the past decade.
Pray for God
to soften the hearts of these men and women so that they would be receptive to
His truth.
Acts 26:18 “Open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light
and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins
and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.”
DAY 4:
Pray that men and women of God will be elected to public office in all levels of
leadership— local, state, and national.
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has
chosen as his heritage!”
DAY 5:
Pray that God’s Spirit would empower His church for ministry and
enable us to pray for and befriend people who are far from God.
Psalm 66:16 “Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he
has done for my soul.”
DAY 6:
Pray that Christians across our nation will take advantage of their God-given
right to pray to stand for Biblical values.
Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the
people groan.”
DAY 7:
Insecurities looms almost every part of the country. Please pray that God will
move in the hearts of these men and women, who engaged in the evil act to repent
and embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ
Proverbs 24:11 “Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back
those who are stumbling to the slaughter.”
DAY 8:
Pray for Jesus to be exalted as Lord in every heart and for each believer to be
ready to share Christ—who He is and what He has done.
1 Peter 3:15, NIV “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be
prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the
hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
DAY 9:
Pray for your local elected officials, including city council, school board
members, and all those who lead in your community. Ask God to grant them wisdom.
1 Timothy 2:1 “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.”
DAY 10:
Among Nigerians who identify as Christians, only 25 percent say they regularly
read God’s Word, pray, and spend time in fellowship with other believers.
Pray
that God transforms many of these men and women into bold witnesses for Jesus
Christ.
Colossians 1:9–10 “We have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you
may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and
understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to
him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
DAY 11:
Pray that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the church will obey the
instructions God gave to King Solomon—to repent, pray, and seek His face.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble
themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I
will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
DAY 12:
Pray for God to give our pastors strength, encouragement, and rest as they
fulfill their calling.
Psalm 1:3 “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its
fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he
prospers.”
DAY 13:
Some people say they don’t believe in absolute standards for right and wrong;
instead they think morality depends on the situation. Pray that many of these
men and women discover the truth of God’s Word.
John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
DAY 14:
Pray for those in our nation who face opposition for their faith in Jesus
Christ. Ask God to strengthen them as they stand for Him.
1 Corinthians 16:13, NIV “Stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be
strong.”
DAY 15:
Today, many people are suffering. Pray for suffering men and women to discover
the lasting peace and purpose found only in Jesus Christ.
John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I
came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
DAY 16:
Pray that people will hear and believe the whole story of Jesus: His birth,
perfect life, suffering on the cross, death, glorious resurrection, ascension,
and soon return.
Romans 8:3 “For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could
not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he
condemned sin in the flesh.”
DAY 17:
Many believed they can earn a place in heaven through good works. Pray for God
to reach these people with the Good News of salvation through His Son.
Galatians 2:16 “We know that a person is not justified by works of the
law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus,
in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because
by works of the law no one will be justified.”
DAY 18:
Pray for new Christians, that the Lord will help them grow in their faith and
that they will become part of a Bible-believing church.
Colossians 2:6–7 “As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were
taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
DAY 19:
Pray for men and women in our military, that the Lord would draw many of them to
Himself and that He would give service members in every level of leadership
wisdom as they defend our nation.
Psalm 31:14–16 “I trust in you, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times
are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
Make your face shine on your servant; save me in your steadfast love!”
DAY 20:
Pray for those in your family and neighborhood who don’t have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Ask God to open doors for you to share the Good
News with them and that He would draw them to Himself.
Ephesians 6:18–19, NIV “Be alert and always keep on praying for all the
Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so
that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.”
DAY 21:
Religion Freedom has been denied to some people pray that God will touch the
ruling body to protect religious freedom and freedom of conscience. Pray that
God will continue to bless Christians with the right to openly practice our
faith.
Galatians 5:1 “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore,
and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”
DAY 22:
Pray for every believer to recognize his or her calling, to be a witness for
Jesus in every place, near or far, every day.
Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot
be hidden.”
DAY 23:
Pray for men and women who used to walk with the Lord, but are now far from Him.
Ask God to draw them back to Himself and transform them into bold Christian
witnesses.
Matthew 18:12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one
of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and
go in search of the one that went astray?”
DAY 24:
Pray for your pastor’s family, that God would strengthen and encourage each of
them.
1 Thessalonians 5:23–24 “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you
completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do
it.”
DAY 25:
Pray for the specific issues facing your neighborhood and community.
Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven.”
DAY 26:
Pray that God will change the hearts of leaders and officials who are
far from Him.
Proverbs 21:1 “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the
Lord; he turns it wherever he will.”
DAY 27:
Pray for the Lord to strengthen the Bible-believing churches in your area.
Ephesians 4:15–16 “Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every
way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and
held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is
working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”
DAY 28:
Pray for children, teenagers, and young people in your community to surrender
their lives to Jesus Christ. Ask God to give you opportunities to share your
faith with them.
Matthew 19:14 “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder
them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’”
DAY 29:
Pray for the men and women in law enforcement who protect us every day. Ask God
to guard them from harm and bless their families who serve along with them.
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of
them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or
forsake you.”
DAY 30:
Pray for the Holy Spirit to enable us to obey God’s calling with a joyful heart.
Ezekiel 36:27 “I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in
my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.”
Day 31:
We live in a nation of many different creeds and convictions, ethnicities and
backgrounds, but we know that You love and reign over us all. Please let the
ways we exercise our freedoms reflect Your holiness and Your compassion,
Psalm 67:2, NIV “that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation
among all nations”.
Psalm 113:4, KJV Lord God, Your Word says that You are “high above all nations,
and [Your] glory above the heavens.”
